The Process
Every designer is different, but the process will likely begin with a conversation. The designer will walk the space with you, talk about what you love, what you don’t, and help you make decision about design and functionality. The more questions they ask and the more information you give, the easier it will be for them to design your kitchen. They will make suggestions and help guide your ideas into an actual game plan. The designer will provide drawings or mockups of the design and layout and get your approval on every detail before moving forward.
From there, the designer will make suggestions for contractors. Johnson Lumber has many valued relationships with local and trusted contractors in the industry. Once the designer locks down the contractors, they will schedule and coordinate the process.
Remodeling a kitchen is a big undertaking. Things have to be done in sequence and on time. Keeping everything on track is crucial. A delay or mistake early-on can push back the whole project and cause contractors to have to reschedule. Our designers will be communicating with you the whole way through and ensuring the process runs smoothly and as scheduled.
